Varsity Suspends 16 Students, Expels 6 (See Names)

Four students have been expelled, while sixteen others were suspended from Ondo State University of Science and Technology situated in Okitipupa area of the state.

The acting registrar of the institution, Felix Akinusi  disclosed this on Wednesday in Okitipupa.

According to report, the expelled students were accused of unrefined wrongdoings while those suspended were due to multiple cases of examination malpractices.

“The university has expelled four students over gross misconduct, they were involved in physical assault of their colleagues on campus.

“The other 16 that were suspended were involved in various examination malpractice for two semesters.

The registrar further warned the students to desist misconduct rather should focus on their study

“Students should desist from misconducts or malpratices which can put them on the sideline, they should concentrate and pursue their academic career to a logical end with seriousness,” Akinusi said.

Akande Samuel (Microbiology)

Oluwatayo Adewale (Geophysics)

Okunomo Henry (Biochemistry)

Akinteye Babatunde (Biochemistry)

While the suspended students are:

Akinkuowo Fisayo (Zoology)

Oladimeji Oluwatobi ( Microbiology)

Oladokun Emmanuel (Geophysics)

Akinde Abiodun (Industrial Chemistry)

Elisha Felicia (Biochemistry)

Ohafugor Joseph (Geophysics)

Kayode Samuel (Physics)

Agbaje Taofeek (Mathematics)

Oni Olubunmi (Fisheries)

Olanipekun Oluwasanmi (Physics)

Ayadi Segun (Fisheries)

Adebisi Oladotun (Botany)

Edward Monday (Mathematics)

Udoh Emmanuel (Industrial Chemistry)

Burojo Ojo (Mathematics)

Sanusi Idris (Fisheries)
