President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday met behind closed doors with the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The agenda of the meeting was not made public at the time of filing this report.
The meeting comes hours Police operatives allegedly laid siege to the homes of Senate President and his deputy, Messr. Bukola Saraki and Ike Ekweremadu.
The meeting also came a day after Police invited Saraki again to answer question regarding the Offa robbery attack.
