JUST IN: Tuition Hike: Pandemonium In Akure As AAUA Students Clash With Policemen

Students of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba AAUA have taken to the street of Akure, the Ondo state capital to protest increment of their tuition fee by the the school management.

BreezeReporters gathered that the management had recently increased the fees from N35,000 to between N130,000 to N150,000 depending on faculty.

Our correspondent in Akure reports that the three-day old protest turned violent at Oja Oba in Akure following clash between students and Policemen.

Police reportedly teargased the protesting students and shot sporacdically in the air.
